HAVEN has served Oakland County for more than fifty years. The crisis line is answered around the clock, and behind it sit emergency shelter, counselling, forensic nursing and advocacy for people going through the court process.
A personal protection order, a criminal case and a family matter can all be running at once, in different courtrooms, on different days. An advocate helps a survivor keep hold of that and shows up with them.
